This week, it’s another murder mystery to continue my Murder Mystery Bingo Challenge 2020.
Although the blog which hosted the challenge has stopped taking entries and concluded the challenge on 31st August, I’ve decided to continue on till the end of the year.
This week, I’m reading another one of my favorite author’s book :
The Seven Dials Mystery by Agatha Christie.

It doesn’t feature either Poirot or Miss Marple, so this will be different. It does have some other characters making a reappearance, but I’ll have to read it first to know. The story seems interesting enough, although I don’t need much motivation to read any of Christie’s ! I love it all.
About the book I read last week, The Sisters Grimm by Menna Van Praag.
The story is told two-way. Some chapters are a countdown, leading to the sisters eighteenth birthday, whereas others tell the past.
Also, each chapter has the POV of all the four sisters, so it’s a little disturbing and confusing, hopping from one narrative to other within a space of 2 pages. A lot of the times, I had to pause reading to look again for the name at the top of the para to see whose narrative I was reading.
Although the chapters were in countdown style, I didn’t feel much thrill because nothing seemed to happen to lead up to the D-Day. The story was great and because it was a fantasy, I enjoyed it just the same. But the narrative style didn’t much work for me.
