Prompt #37 of the 2020 Reading Challenge

For this week, I’ve selected the following prompt from the 2020 Popsugar Reading Challenge:

A book with an upside down image on the cover.

Even after browsing through goodreads list, I couldn’t find a particular book which interested me to read for this prompt. Just right at time, I got a book in TBB’s anniversary box which was perfect for this !! (TBB – The Big Book box is an amazing subscription box based here in India. Do check out there website! )

So, I’m reading the following book :

The Sisters Grimm by Menna Van Praag.

This is just the dust jacket on top and although there is no upside down image on the actual cover of the book, I think it still fits the prompt.

It’s a story of four sisters in a beautiful world full of magic, who where separated during childhood and then, years later, they try to search for one another and rediscover themselves and the world. I love fantasy books and this looks like it’s going to be so amazing !!!!! 😍

The book I read last week, Around the world in 80 trains by Monisha Rajesh.

I’ve found a new favourite genre – Travel books.

This was the book that started as a eh-i’ll-have-to-read-it-for-the-challenge and then at the end became why-didn’t-I-read-this-book-sooner. It was just as interesting as it was knowledgeable for me. I learned so much about different countries and the people, that too at a steady pace of a train so that I was in sync with the journey the whole time.

Also realized, quite naively, that there is so much going on in the world about which I have utterly no idea ! Like the situations of North Korea and Tibet.

Definitely a must read for the travelers ! Even if you don’t enjoy it by the end (which is unlikely), you’ll definitely have a new travel bucket list ready. I do. πŸ˜…

What are you reading currently ?

Tell me about it.
