So, for this prompt I selected the following book :
Ready Player One by Earnest Cline.
It’s a science fiction novel based on virtual gaming, set in the dystopian world of 2045. I generally prefer fantasy over sci-fi, as I’m not much into video games. So, I was reluctant to pick this book. But the whole point of this reading challenge is to help me to step into new genres, so I’m going to read this. Maybe I’ll even become a fan of this genre. Who knows, right ?
Last week I read Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie.
Another great book featuring Hercule Poirot. The setting of the story in the foreign excavation dig was interesting and so was the layout of the plot. But I felt the narrative was a bit dramatized and also, the beginning was really slow. Not the best of the books, but still worth a read.
