Prompt #25 of the 2020 Reading Challenge

This week, I’ve selected the following prompt from the 2020 Popsugar Reading Challenge :

A book with at least a four-star rating on Goodreads.

There are a lot, I mean a whole lot, of books with at least a four-star rating on goodreads. So, it was quite easy selecting one to read this week :

Peter Pan by J.M.Barrie.

I recently realised that there are a lot of children’s books which are classics and super popular, but I haven’t read them yet. So, I made a separate list of those and starting with this prompt I am finally reading Peter Pan.

About the book I read last week, Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.

It’s a classic gothic novel about a vampire, Louis as he tells the story of his transformation, his companions, their travel through various countries, looking for others of their kind and most importantly looking for answers. A story of unseen consequences, of love and loss.Β
It’s actually divided in 4 parts. At times, it felt really slow and long but once I was past part 2, I started enjoying it. Things started happening all at once and then the story gripped me. A good read for sure. Only recommended for classics fans, who can read a person’s monologue discussing his feelings for pages on end.

What are you reading currently ?

Tell me about it.
