I had decided on reading this book as soon as I had read this prompt. But if you need any help, you can check out a list of books that fit this prompt on goodreads. So, I am reading the following book this week :
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice.
The book is a horror and gothic classic novel. I didn’t realise it was part of a series until I read the cover. The synopsis is quite intriguing. It’s been on my TBR for as long as I’ve had a TBR shelf, so I’m glad to be finally reading this !
Last week, I read The Switch by Beth O’Leary.
Such a cute read ! I loved both the main characters, Leena and Eileen, a grand daughter and her grandmother. As they swap their lives for each other’s, Leena coming to the country to live in her grandmother’s house, take on her village duties, she learns about the simplest pleasures and people’s natures. As Eileen goes to stay at London, she undertakes an adventure, falls in love. I loved both their point of views, enjoyed their journeys, suffered through the struggles.
A heart warming read, definitely recommended to all the contemporary book lovers. To all those who just want a light and easy read with as much emotion as fun !
