Prompt #21 of the 2020 Reading Challenge

This week’s prompt selected from the 2020 Popsugar Reading Challenge is the following:

A book by an author in their 20s.

I had a lot of options for this prompt but I decided on the following book:

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.

So, the book is about a fantasy world divided by blood- red or silver. It is a tale of power and intrigue with a female lead character. My favorite type !

I am excited to start this book. Also, it’s a series which means I now have higher expectations from the first book because that decides whether I would be following up on the whole series or not.

About the book I read last week, The Wanderers by Sarthak Rathi. Well, the author wrote this book when he was just 12 years old. That makes it worth 5 stars, just for sheer creativity. I’m in awe of his imagination powers. The elements included in the story – friendship, revenge, world domination, all are blended splendidly. But there are obviously a lot of grammatical errors and also, editorial error as a whole chapter was repeated twice. That can be ignored just for encouragement sake and so, I recommend this to everyone who would like to encourage young talent.
Also, the story didn’t end so I’m assuming there’s going to be a sequel. I’m looking forward to see how the story turns out but I do hope it will be error-free.

What are you reading currently?

Tell me about it.
