Prompt #19 of the 2020 Reading Challenge

For this week, I’ve selected the following prompt from the Popsugar Reading Challenge:

A book you picked because the title caught your attention.

So, this prompt is just an excuse to read any book you wanted to read because you liked the title. I have such a book on my TBR which I had bought because I was curious after seeing the title. So, the book I’m reading this week for the above prompt is-

Truly, Devious by Maureen Johnson.

I absolutely love the cover 😍 After reading the back cover I was more interested in the book because it’s a mystery novel which is one of my favourites. The story looks promising and I’m really excited to read this!

Now, about the book I read last week – The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman.

The story is about Nina who loves books, has anxiety problems and lives alone. Then she discovers a whole new family and so many relatives, when her father dies and mentions her in the will. All the complexities of getting to know new people. She is also a pro at trivia where she meets a cute guy from the opposing team. The story continues with as much fun and drama as is expected. The book was written brilliantly and I loved the characters.

A definite recommendation for a book-lover. You can relate to Nina’s love for books so much. After reading the book, I’ve decided that Nina’s life is my dream life now – working in a book store, running so many book clubs, doing nothing on a free day other than reading. Just perfect !

What are you reading currently ?

Tell me about it.
