For this week, I’ve selected the following prompt from the Popsugar Reading Challenge:
A book set in a city that has hosted the Olympics.
There are a lot of prompts in this year’s Popsugar Reading Challenge which are based around Olympics. Obviously it must be because it’s the year of Summer Olympics, which are to be held in Tokyo.
I had a lot of book options for this prompt as there are a lot of cities which have held the Olympics. But I didn’t have to do a lot of browsing because I already had a book in mind to read which just fit this prompt perfectly.
The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi.
It’s been on my to-read list since I’d read amazing reviews of this book. It had all the things I hope in a book: Fantasy world. Check. An unlikely group working together. Check. Set in Paris. Double Check.
So, I’m really excited to dive this new world.
Also about the book I read last week- The Lying Game by Ruth Ware. It’s a psychological thriller about four friends and their lives revolving around a mystery. It was good but not the best thriller I’ve read. You may read my full review on the book, here.
