Prompt #2 of the 2020 reading challenge

For the second week, I’ve decided to start a murder mystery so as to get going with the Murder Mystery Bingo Challenge.

Firstly I have to tell you about the book I read in the last week for the first prompt, The Book of Essie by Meghan Maclean Weir. After completing the book, I was really grateful that I had read it finally and couldn’t believe how I could’ve left it for this long. It was a wonderful book and I won’t go into telling the whole plot, which you can read here.

It taught me about the number of different ways a person can choose to be brave and do the right thing. Also, the importance of having a good friend, with whom you can face any challenge and still stand straight at the end of it.

I love how each book gives us something to think about, which you never would have realised otherwise. After reading this book, I’ll try to be less judgemental and not blindly believe the things as they are depicted.

The Big Four by Agatha Christie

Now, about the book for the second week of the year ; it’s The Big Four by Agatha Christie. She’s one of my favorite authors and this book is a Hercule Poirot mystery, which I’m sure will be a great story.

I will read the book in this week and then cross off a square from the murder mystery bingo which I have given here. You can start any murder mystery you want to read and complete the bingo on your own.

Do tell me what you’re reading by clicking the link below.

Happy Reading !
